Neuropsychological Evaluation

A comprehensive evaluation of physical, cognitive, emotional, and behavioral functioning. The process includes an extended clinical interview, formal cognitive testing, and a feedback session with the patient to explain the results. This is a medical evaluation and the summary report may serve as formal medical documentation.

Academic, ADHD, and Learning Disability Testing

A comprehensive neuropsychological evaluation (see above) to determine cause and treatment for problems specific to an academic school setting at the high school, college, and graduate school level. The process includes an extended clinical interview, cognitive testing, academic testing, and a feedback session to explain the results. This is a medical evaluation and the summary report may serve as formal documentation for confirmation of the diagnosis or to provide academic accommodations.

  • Formal documentation for academic accommodations such as extra time or flexible learning

  • Evaluation to confirm waiver for ADHD medications for doping agencies in athletics

Adult ADHD Evaluation

A neuropsychological consultation (see above) to determine cause and treatment for problems specific to adult ADHD. The process includes an extended clinical interview, cognitive testing emphasizing attention, working memory, and executive functioning, and a feedback session with the patient to explain the results. This may serve as formal documentation for confirmation of the diagnosis; however, this is typically insufficient to determine learning disability or for academic institutions.

  • Diagnosis of ADHD in adults

  • Formal documentation for prescribing physicians

  • Evaluation to confirm waiver for ADHD medications for doping agencies in athletics

Baseline Cognitive Testing

This is not a neuropsychological evaluation, simply the testing portion of the assessment. It will not serve as formal medical documentation. The patient will be given a brief summary and the test results to serve as a baseline for comparison or to guide treatment at a later date should an injury occur. The patient will not be provided interpretation or recommendations in a formal report, but this may be discussed further as necessary.

Psychological Evaluation

A psychological evaluation differs from a neuropsychological evaluation (see above) by focusing on the assessment of emotional and psychological status over cognitive and functional ability. The process includes an extended clinical interview, formal psychological testing, and a feedback session with the patient to explain the results. This is a medical evaluation and the summary report may serve as formal documentation.
